The Young Gods arrive at 6MIC in Aix-en-Provence on 17 September 2026 with the Appear Disappear Tour. Forty years after their debut in Fribourg, the trio led by Franz Treichler puts the guitars back to the fore and tightens the arrangements. Their fourteenth album, Appear Disappear, floods the set with contemporary tensions — conflict, surveillance, intimate fissures — while reconnecting with a more direct energy. Cesare Pizzi’s samplers sculpt crisp textures, the rhythm pounds lean and precise, and the vocals build a bridge between psych, post-punk and electronics.
