Drake Milligan - Tumbleweed World Tour

On 18 September 2026 Drake Milligan brings his Tumbleweed World Tour to SPOT/De Oosterpoort in Groningen. The Texan, born in Mansfield in 1998, draws his country straight from the honky‑tonks of home, with an early fascination with Elvis that still resonates in his timing, vocals and swagger. From Nashville he has been shaping a sound that feels traditional without retro gimmicks: narrative melodies, plenty of twang, a tight rhythm section and that edge of 1950s rock ’n’ roll.

Since his debut EP in 2021 and the album Dallas/Fort Worth (2022), Milligan has written songs that sit somewhere between tearjerker and two‑step — equally suited to the dance floor or the bar. Live he keeps things close to the core: compact arrangements, cutting guitars and hooks that stick in your head. In Groningen he will present material from Dallas/Fort Worth and newer work, played as intended: direct, melodic and with enough honky‑tonk drive to pull you in, whether you come for the stories or for the groove.
