On 20 May 2026 BLØF will perform at PLT - Theater Heerlen in Heerlen. Since the 1990s, the band from Vlissingen has been writing Dutch-language pop-rock with clear melodies, understated guitars and melodic keyboards, with lyrics about everyday life, relationships and the Zeeland landscape. Paskal Jakobsen, Peter Slager, Bas Kennis and drummer Norman Bonink play a set that covers their entire trajectory: from their breakthrough around "Liefs uit Londen" and the album "Helder", via "Omarm", to the travel-infused sounds of "Umoja". Live, BLØF alternates between intimate ballads and more robust songs, with attention to dynamics and detail. Well-known tracks like "Zoutelande" and their version of "Holiday in Spain" sit alongside more recent work and a few songs that don’t surface on every tour. A concert focused on the song itself, leaving room for lyrics and melody, and a sound that remains true to its core.
