Nick Mulvey

On 23 May 2026 Nick Mulvey will play at Koninklijk Theater Carré in Amsterdam. The British singer, guitarist and songwriter has carved his own path between Spain, Cuba and London. As co‑founder of Portico Quartet he made his name; he later chose a solo career, releasing two albums and earning a Mercury Prize nomination. His music is rooted in the acoustic: fingerpicking, pulsing patterns and a voice that carries without adornment. Folk provides the base, but influences from world music and minimalism run throughout.
