Fly by Midnight

Fly by Midnight, the American indie-pop duo of singer-songwriter Justin Bryte and producer-guitarist Slavo, will perform at Patronaat in Haarlem on March 8, 2026. The project began in the mid-2010s in New York, first with reimagined online covers and soon after with original material. Their sound sits between melancholy and clarity, featuring smooth electronic rhythms, understated guitars and two-part harmonies that carry the songs. Synth lines and a fondness for ’80s textures are paired with concise, contemporary pop hooks.

Since their inception the duo has steadily built a catalogue of singles, EPs and albums released primarily digitally, supplemented by occasional collaborations with pop and electronic artists. Live they play in a compact setup that puts melody and voice at the center: tight, direct and without unnecessary layers. On stage, Fly by Midnight seamlessly weaves new material through more familiar tracks, sharpening the focus on their blend of indie pop and synthpop. It’s an evening to hear their songwriting and vocal harmonies up close, in a format that precisely shows what this duo is about.
