Wolfmother

On 8 August 2026 Wolfmother will play TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht. Led by singer-guitarist Andrew Stockdale, the band delivers its blend of heavy, melodic rock and 1970s psychedelia: driving riffs, powerful vocals and keyboards with a touch of retro. Since the early 2000s the trio from Sydney has forged its own signature, from the breakthrough with their EP and self-titled debut to a reshuffled lineup and a fuller, rougher sound on Cosmic Egg. That was followed by the independently released New Crown and Victorious, on which the songs became more compact and direct again.

Live, Wolfmother is all about energy and guitar work. Expect tight, to-the-point tracks alongside longer, more expansive pieces from earlier phases, all propelled by that distinctive pulse that defined their tours across Australia, Europe and North America. Stockdale remains the steady centrepiece, with a set that brings together different chapters from the catalogue: from heavy grooves to ear-catching melodies, with the interplay leading the way. In Utrecht, all of this will come together for a show that makes Wolfmother’s heart beat at full force.
