On April 12, 2026, at the Melkweg in Amsterdam, Ninja Sex Party and TWRP will join forces. TWRP hail from Canada, having formed in the late 2000s in Halifax and now operating out of Toronto. The quartet—Doctor Sung, Lord Phobos, Commander Meouch and Have Mercy—adopts a sci‑fi aesthetic, wearing masks and employing a comic‑book visual language. Musically they blend funk, rock, disco and synthwave: melodic basslines, talkbox and vocoder, and riffs with an ’80s edge. Their trajectory runs from the indie scene to club tours and online releases, with albums such as Believe in Your Dreams, Guardians of the Zone, Together Through Time, Return to Wherever, Over the Top, New & Improved and Digital Nightmare.
Ninja Sex Party, from the US, are regular collaborators with TWRP; together they craft live shows built around earworm choruses, theatrical characters and playful references to pop culture and gaming. In this joint set the performance is central: TWRP as a full‑throttle live band, Ninja Sex Party up front with stories and hooks—everything tight and polished, with room for sing‑alongs and dancefloor energy. The humor of Ninja Sex Party and the groove of TWRP come together here, delivered straight to the stage in Amsterdam.
