The Avener

The Avener will perform on 1 May 2026 at Melkweg in Amsterdam. Behind that name is the French producer and DJ Tristan Casara (born in Nice, 1987), who grew up at the piano and was shaped by the club scene. His signature balances melodic deep house and electronic pop, with echoes of folk and blues. He became known with "Fade Out Lines" (2013), his reinterpretation of a Phoebe Killdeer song, and built on that with the album The Wanderings of The Avener (2015), where reworkings sit alongside vocal collaborations. Since then he has worked on remixes and productions for others while furthering his own musical path. With Heaven (2020) he refined that hybrid approach: full songs alongside more instrumental pieces, with a strong focus on melody, organic textures and the voice as a guiding element. Live, he blends reworkings with his own tracks, keeps the tempo measured and finds the tension in groove and arrangement. A set focused on atmosphere and detail, tight but warm, right on the knife-edge between club music and song.
