Oliver Schories Open Air - Hamburg

On May 1, 2026 Oliver Schories will take over the Edelfettwerk in Hamburg with an all-day open-air set. The Hamburg-based producer and DJ represents a melodic house language at the intersection of techno and deep house. Since the late 2000s he has released EPs and remixes, and later albums and compilations, characterized by long progressions, smooth basslines and recurring synth motifs. Club-oriented tracks meet quieter, more contemplative pieces — always with a sense for build and transition.

On stage, Schories thinks in arcs rather than individual tracks. His DJ sets combine warm grooves, melodic themes and atmospheric textures that patiently build and then open up again. The all-day format gives space to draw this dramaturgy without haste: from the first beat to dense climaxes and subtle afterglows. Alongside releases on various labels, he curates his own imprint, Soso, which broadens his sonic framework and offers a platform to close collaborators. Open air in Hamburg, where his sound has grown.
