Info
On April 28, 2026, at Le Ferrailleur in Nantes, Zëro and Michel Cloup share the bill for a double release party. It’s an encounter where the major trajectories of the French indie scene cross paths with new material, between sharp spoken word and abrasive guitars.
Michel Cloup
Singer-guitarist formerly of Diabologum, then Expérience and Binary Audio Misfits, Michel Cloup continues to follow his singular course. He is also responsible for the musical adaptation of Joseph Ponthus’s À la ligne, which has refined his taste for bare-voice storytelling. On stage he appears as a power trio with Julien Rufié, his drummer since 2015, and Manon Labry (No Milk Today) on guitar and bass. In a compact format, lyrics take precedence, the grain of the strings and precise rhythm carrying the new songs.
Zëro
From Lyon, Zëro brings together musicians who have passed through notable formations. Around Éric Aldéa on vocals and guitar are Franck Laurino on drums and Ivan Chiossone on machines. Born from the ashes of Deity Guns, Bästard and Narcophony, the band navigates between rock, noise and post-rock, with a taste for tense atmospheres and slow-building progressions. Since Ain’t That Mayhem in 2018, it’s above all on stage that the Lyonnais have honed their craft; this release-focused occasion emphasizes the new material. On stage, expect a dense, carefully constructed set made up of abrupt shifts and collective energy.
