ShitKid

ShitKid is the project of Swedish musician Åsa Söderqvist, rooted in lo-fi rock between garage, off-kilter pop and punky edges. Since 2016, raw recordings, stripped-back structures and half‑sung, half‑spoken hooks have shaped her sound. After a hiatus in 2020, ShitKid is back: for its tenth anniversary the project will tour in 2026 and will stop at Kantine am Berghain in Berlin on 29 March 2026.

Live, Söderqvist opens the archive and stretches a line through all phases: early tracks, songs from Fish (2017), This Is It (2018) and Detention (2019), alongside excerpts from Duo Limbo / Mellan himmel å helvete (2020, with Melvins) and 20/20 ShitKid. The setlist swings between punchy riffs and crooked pop moments, between direct choruses and small experiments, carried by a clear DIY attitude and a rough patina. At the same time, PNKSLM Recordings will release the compilation The Essential (Vol 1), curated by Åsa herself and focused on the rock‑driven highlights of her journey.
