On March 7, 2026 at Lee’s Palace in Toronto, Spiritual Cramp bring their San Francisco punk straight to the front: sharp, no-frills songs cut with post-punk angles and a 90s alternative streak. Led by Michael Bingham, the band built its identity the DIY way, from the early EPs Mass Hysteria and Television to a lean, self-titled album in 2023. The writing stays tight and punchy, lyrics anchored in everyday snapshots, guitars wired to move fast and keep the pressure on.
Sharing the bill, Young Guv is Ben Cook’s power-pop and indie rock outlet, rooted in years spent across Toronto’s punk orbit. Short formats, upfront guitars—clean or blown out—and vocal harmonies that land quick and clear: that’s the core of a catalog that runs from Ripe 4 Luv to the Guv I–IV cycle. Live, the project shifts easily between glossy melody and garage grit, carried by a rotating crew pulled from both sides of the border. Two approaches, one aim: songs that hit without filler.
