Wolf Parade

Wolf Parade brings its Montreal-born indie rock to The Pearl in Vancouver on November 14, 2026. Formed around Spencer Krug, Dan Boeckner and Arlen Thompson, the band built its sound on the friction between angular guitars, saturated keyboards and a tight, driving rhythm section, with vocals traded between Krug and Boeckner. On stage, that dialogue turns into sharp contrasts: jagged riffs and synth lines locking into repetitive motifs, piano figures cutting through electronic textures, songs that stretch and snap back without losing the pulse.

The set draws a clear line through their catalogue, from the raw rush of Apologies to the Queen Mary to the sprawling turns of At Mount Zoomer and the more direct Expo 86, then toward the structured, synth-forward writing of Cry Cry Cry and Thin Mind. Expect shifts between post-punk edges and new wave shades, choruses carried by two voices, and arrangements that keep evolving in real time. Two decades in, Wolf Parade keeps its geometry steady while pushing the arrangements forward, reconnecting early urgency with later precision for a live show that moves with intent.
