On August 29, 2026 at Sobeys Stadium in Toronto, LUCKI steps in with the low-tempo, inward-looking rap he’s shaped since Chicago’s early 2010s. First noticed as Lucki Eck$ with Alternative Trap in 2013, he has built a sound of slowed trap patterns, sparse, hazy production and a weary, unvarnished flow. From the Freewave tapes to Watch My Back and Freewave 3, then the F1lthy-produced Wake Up Lucki and Flawless Like Me, his writing circles addiction, mental strain and the uneasy pull of success, delivered with a calm pulse and an unhurried pace.
Nettspend arrives from Richmond’s online scene with a jerk-leaning, trap-driven formula: very short tracks, clipped hooks, saturated 808s, bare pianos and bright synth stabs. After early SoundCloud drops, a “Drankdrankdrank” snippet spread in 2023 and “Shine N Peace” drew attention, followed by the EP Kickdoor, the mixtape Bad Ass F*cking Kid and the EP Gone Too Soon. Affiliated with the 1c34 circle around xaviersobased and collaborators like Evilgiane and OsamaSon, he pushes a tight, high-BPM bounce. Early Life Crisis, his debut album, has been announced for 2026.
