On September 5, 2026, the Greyhounds from Austin, Texas will take the stage at Music Hall Worpswede. The duo of Anthony Farrell (keyboards, vocals) and Andrew Trube (guitar, vocals) blends soul, rhythm ’n’ blues, funk and blues‑tinged Southern rock. Live, their sound relies on slowly rolling grooves, tightly arranged harmonies and the constant dialogue between guitar and keys; the lyrics range from everyday observation to quiet introspection. Active since the late ’90s, the Greyhounds began with self‑released records and sharpened their profile with Accumulator (2014), Change of Pace (2016) and Cheyenne Valley Drive (2018): modern takes on soul with clear vintage references. Primates (2020) continues this direction, emphasizing psychedelic colors and mid‑tempo grooves.
