Eagles of Death Metal return to Paris on November 3, 2026 at La Cigale. Born in Palm Desert around Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme, the band stakes a claim to straightforward rock, between garage and rock’n’roll heritage. On stage EODM operates with a flexible lineup led by Hughes—his gravelly voice, incisive guitar and knack for sing-along choruses at the forefront. Since Peace, Love, Death Metal, then Death by Sexy, Heart On and Zipper Down, their repertoire stacks short riffs, nervous tempos and chanted backing vocals. The set draws on those records, sometimes expanding into covers in the spirit of Boots Electric, driven by a dry rhythm section and fuzzed guitars. Josh Homme is not always on tour, but the desert rock lineage remains: taut grooves, direct efficiency and a wry sense of humor. At La Cigale expect a compact, no-frills show focused on the essentials and steered by Hughes and a stage-ready rhythm section.
