Kneecap

On 6 November 2026, Kneecap takes over the Rockhal in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg. The trio formed in Belfast and West Belfast — Mo Chara, Moglaí Bap and producer DJ Próvaí — has carved out a bilingual Gaelic/English rap that lands straight, mixing dark humour, neighbourhood chronicles and an unapologetically political outlook. Their trademark: subverting symbols, blending satire with self-mockery, and turning everyday life into sharp material for songs.

On stage the group moves as a pack: jittery beats, thick bass, chanted hooks and constant back-and-forth between the two languages. The tracks that made waves in Ireland and beyond follow in sequence, fuelled by writing that addresses alcohol, precarity, local politics and the art of getting by — without unnecessary filters. Their first full-length and their autobiographical film have honed their identity, but it’s live that their approach fully takes shape, collective and confrontational.
