INJI brings her “this tour is superlame.” to Fortune Sound Club in Vancouver on May 26, 2026. Turkish-born and now based in New York, she bends dance-pop into sharp, catchy stories with raw energy and a dry sense of humor. A classically trained pianist who passed through Wharton, she broke out in 2022 with Gaslight, a house cut that went viral and set her tone: everyday drama flipped into club chants. Bellydancing, Madeline and Boys Ain’t Shit followed, mixing punchy beats with satirical hooks that stick.

Her first mixtape, Superlame (2025), maps the mess and the fun: breakups, dates that go sideways, emotional spirals, excess and flashes of vulnerability. Live, that blend swings from incisive grooves to ravey rushes, with lyrics that stay conversational and just a little mischievous. After stops at Lollapalooza Paris, Osheaga and Outside Lands, she rolls in with a set built around key tracks and fresh cuts from Superlame, keeping the humor upfront and the tempo moving.
