The Black Keys bring PEACHES 'N KREAM to Avenir Centre in Moncton on October 13, 2026. From their Akron roots, Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney have shaped a lean blend of blues rock, garage grit and alt hooks. On stage, the duo leans into repetition, mid-tempo grooves and unfussy arrangements, often reinforced by a few touring players. The set threads early lo-fi cuts from The Big Come Up, Thickfreakness and Rubber Factory with the more crafted writing opened up on Attack & Release and the Danger Mouse era of Brothers, El Camino and Turn Blue. Recent chapters, Let’s Rock, their Mississippi blues homage Delta Kream, Dropout Boogie and Ohio Players, keep the focus on riffs, pocket and voice. The show pivots on guitar bite and drum pulse, nothing extra.
Also on the bill, Jeremie Albino brings songwriting rooted in North American folk, blues and a country sensibility. Raised between Toronto and a farm in Prince Edward County, he writes in a plainspoken, road-worn register. Since his debut Hard Time (2019), his songs move from stripped ballads to rootsy rock and more soulful tempos, carried either solo or with a live band. Voice, groove and simple arrangements stay at the center, bridging tradition and a present-tense feel.
