Info
Margo Price lands at Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto on February 26, 2026. Born in Aledo, Illinois and based in Nashville since the early 2000s, she sculpts songs rooted in country and Americana, with a clear pull toward folk and classic rock. After formative years with Buffalo Clover and Margo and the Pricetags, she stepped out solo with Midwest Farmer’s Daughter in 2016, then All American Made in 2017, where her writing s’ouvre to social and political subjects. That’s How Rumors Get Started (2020) and Strays (2023) deepened the blend of country, rock and touches of soul, without losing the narrative line that shapes her work.
On stage, Price leans into that storytelling: direct lyrics, lived-in melodies, a band that shifts easily from rootsy swing to rougher edges. Often in close collaboration with Jeremy Ivey, she cultivates a modern, roots-inflected approach sometimes labeled outlaw. This date brings together pieces from across her catalogue and the personal themes she also explored in her 2022 memoir, Maybe We’ll Make It — a portrait of an artist who advances with steady craft and a strong sense of narrative.
