The Glorious Sons

The Glorious Sons bring their Canadian rock to The KEE to Bala in Bala on August 1, 2026. Formed in Kingston, Ontario, the band is led by singer Brett Emmons alongside guitarist Jay Emmons. Their sound folds alternative rock into classic rock colors with touches of blues, shifting live between lean ballads and electric, straight-ahead grooves. The set draws across their catalog, from the early Shapeless Art EP and The Union (2014) to Young Beauties and Fools (2017), A War on Everything (2019) and Glory (2023).

Their songs track everyday life, family tensions and the drift of youth, carried by unvarnished vocals and guitars moving from rough-edged riffs to wide, open chords. Years of touring in Canada, the U.S. and Europe have shaped a show built on pace and dynamics rather than ornament. In Bala, the group lines up newer material alongside the tracks that first set their course, for a set rooted in melody, pulse and direct rock playing.
