Led by Efrem Schulz, the band has spent more than two decades navigating speed, gang vocals and hook-driven passages, with lyrics that tap into politics, social pressure and personal struggle. From their 1999 debut If Looks Could Kill, I’d Watch You Die through Day of the Death, Into the Valley of Death, Death for Life, Death Is My Only Friend, Black Sheep of the American Dream and We’re All Dying Just in Time, their catalogue tracks a line between hardcore intensity and metal weight without losing a direct, punchy writing style. Live, the set shifts quickly between chanted parts and sharp, melodic breaks.
