Composer behind the music of Final Fantasy, Nobuo Uematsu returns to Europe with the conTIKI Show. On 9 May 2026 at Salle Pleyel in Paris, he presents a program exploring his signature themes, rearranged for the stage, blending orchestration, progressive rock and piano melodies. The performance revisits the motifs associated with the characters who have defined the series, carried by compositions that fuse pop and Celtic influences. Continuing the trajectory of his live projects The Black Mages and then Earthbound Papas, Uematsu adapts his game soundtracks for the stage, alternating rock nods with orchestral passages.
Special guest Sarah Àlainn joins the stage. A singer and multi‑instrumentalist heard on “Beyond the Sky” from Xenoblade Chronicles, she adds a vocal and instrumental dimension, combining singing and violin. Experienced in soundtracks and in collaborations at the intersection of pop, classical and film music, she enters Uematsu’s world with voice‑driven interpretations and live arrangements crafted for the hall.
