Angelo Kelly comes to Worpswede with a band: on 25 September 2026 he will perform at Music Hall Worpswede e.V. The singer, songwriter and drummer grew up in the Irish‑American Kelly family and was already on stage at a young age with The Kelly Family across Europe and North America. Since the 2000s he has pursued his own path, writing, producing and releasing music under his own name.
With a band, Angelo Kelly focuses on a pop‑folk repertoire propelled by acoustic guitars, drums and melodic vocals. Irish and American influences run through his songs, sometimes in driving folk rhythms, sometimes in quieter, more narrative pieces. The set combines new material with well‑known songs from his career, keeping the handcrafted, acoustic core at its center.
Here Angelo Kelly presents the band version of his project: concentrated on the songs and the interplay between musicians, with space for acoustic detail and folk‑tinged colors.
