On 4 October 2026, Tender will play Helios 37 in Cologne. The London duo of James Cullen and Dan Cobb build their songs from gentle synths, pared-down beats and a clear, melodic voice. Between R&B influences and indie-pop, they create an electronic pop language that breathes slowly and leaves room. Their lyrics revolve around relationships, emotional dependencies and fragile everyday moments; directly phrased, often repetitive, intended for late hours.
Since their first DIY EPs in 2015/16, Tender has sharpened its vocabulary: Modern Addiction (2017) set the course, Fear of Falling Asleep (2019) introduced more contrasts while sticking to soft textures and lean arrangements. Live, the duo relies on clear structures, dense atmospheres and subtle shifts in dynamics. Intimate hooks, pulsing basslines and small adjustments open the songs piece by piece and sustain the tension without resorting to gimmicks.
