On 9 March 2026, Of Monsters and Men bring their Mouse Parade Tour to the Docks, Spielbudenplatz 19 in Hamburg. The Icelandic band condenses folk, pop and indie rock into songs that thrive on the interplay of Nanna’s and Ragnar’s voices, supported by acoustic guitars, pulsating drums and subtle brass or synth colors. Since their early success with “Little Talks” and the debut My Head Is An Animal, the collective has steadily honed its live form. On stage a natural flow arises between sparsely told verses and powerfully built choruses, with multi-part harmonies and percussive climaxes. The set blends early favorites with new material from the tour and presents the band in a direct, clearly arranged manner.
Also on the bill is RAKEL from Iceland. Her pieces rely on intimate vocals, subtle electronic textures and clear melodies. The pared-down arrangements leave space for atmosphere before the beat picks up — a quiet contrast and at the same time a bridge to the evening’s folk-pop colors.
