On 16 March 2026, JID brings his God Does Like World Tour to the Muffathalle in Munich. The Atlanta rapper, born Destin Choice Route, anchors his sound between jazz, soul and trap hues. Since The Never Story (2017) and DiCaprio 2 (2018) he has been known for rapid shifts in flow, dense rhymes and melodies that hold his tracks together. On The Forever Story (2022) he sharpened his focus on biography, family and social tensions; live, he translates this narrative approach through precise rhythm, shifting time signatures and subtle hooks. Coming from the Dreamville school and shaped by Spillage Village, he moves seamlessly from breakneck patterns to more relaxed passages — always with assured timing.
Mick Jenkins, from Chicago and rooted in spoken-word, provides the other side of the evening.
