Info
On 12 November 2026, Interpol and Bloc Party will share the stage at the Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg. Interpol, the New York trio of Paul Banks, Daniel Kessler and Sam Fogarino, has embodied a distinctive take on post-punk since the late 1990s: cool clarity, dense tension and precise grooves. Their debut, Turn On the Bright Lights, stamped their signature with tracks like “PDA,” “Obstacle 1” and “NYC.” It was followed by Antics, Our Love to Admire, El Pintor and The Other Side of Make-Believe — albums that developed the sound further without losing their thread. Guitars that cut, basslines that carry, and a voice that sketches a nocturnal view of the city.
Bloc Party formed in 2003 around singer and guitarist Kele Okereke, with Russell Lissack, Gordon Moakes and Matt Tong. Early EPs, Bloc Party and Little Thoughts (2004), created momentum, followed by tours and support slots. In 2005 came Silent Alarm, in 2007 A Weekend in the City; after a break and Kele’s solo outings the band returned in 2012 with Four. Their blend of nervous guitar work, angular riffs and danceable rhythms meets clear melodies and direct hooks — a foundation that has immediate impact on stage.
