Jamie Woon

On 23 April 2026 Jamie Woon will play the Luxor in Cologne. The London singer, songwriter and producer has from the start moved between stripped-back R&B and delicate electronic textures. With Mirrorwriting (2011) he delivered tracks such as “Night Air” and “Lady Luck,” where his warm, velvety voice meets influences from bass music and UK club culture. In 2015 he followed with Making Time, more organic and soul-focused, with a stronger band feel and airy arrangements — another perspective on the same core: songwriting with an ear for detail.

Live, Woon emphasises precision and space. Flowing grooves, sparse beats, guitars and keys support the melodies without overburdening them. The set oscillates between introspective soul moments and forward-driving midtempo, at times electronically shimmering, at times almost acoustic. His songs gain depth on stage while remaining true to their essence: hooks that stay with you, lyrics that tell quietly. A concert that condenses the range of his two albums and demonstrates how consistently he has continued to develop his sound away from hype.
