Lany - Soft World Tour

LANY bring their Soft World Tour to Munich: on 22 May 2026 at the Backstage Kulturzentrum. The Los Angeles duo – Paul Jason Klein on vocals and songwriting, Jake Goss on drums – have been blending dream-pop and indie-pop with a subtle R&B touch since 2014. Their signature sound features restrained synths, treated guitars and an intimate voice that anchors itself to clear choruses.

After early EPs, LANY released their self-titled debut in 2017, marked by direct hooks, airy textures and urban relationship narratives. Malibu Nights followed in 2018, more pared-back and piano-driven with an emphasis on ballads. With Mama’s Boy (2020), American pop-rock references came more to the fore, while gg bb xx (2021) focused on immediate, compact songs. Touring as a duo since 2022, Klein and Goss maintain a balance between studio refinement and live momentum, occasionally supplemented by collaborations.

In Munich the setlist spans these phases: intimate moments and dense sonic textures, then pulsating drums and earworm melodies—songs written for clubs and mid-sized venues, performed up close to the audience.
