On October 23, 2026, Prinz Pi will take the stage at Im Wizemann in Stuttgart. Raised in Berlin as Friedrich Kautz, he emerged in the German-language rap scene in the late 1990s, initially as Prinz Porno with explicit battle rap and early releases such as Heute gibt es Krieg! and Teenage Mutant Horror Show. Beginning with Neopunk (2004) he shifted his focus: narrative, reflective lyrics, social commentary and references to pop culture and urban everyday life, supported by productions that sit between alternative hip-hop and pop-rap. Notable milestones followed, including Donnerwetter!, Rebell ohne Grund, Kompass ohne Norden, pp=mc², Im Westen nix Neues and Nichts war umsonst; his alias Prinz Porno occasionally resurfaces, for example with Teenage Mutant Horror Show 2.
