Didier Super returns turned up to eleven with Didier Super Metal. Since the early 2000s, the singer-comic has navigated between punk songs and one-man shows; in 2012 he set aside the electric guitar for more spoken formats. Today he plugs everything back in and surrounds himself with a band for a set where heavy riffs and measured provocations carry his caustic lyrics.

At La Rayonne in Villeurbanne, on October 8, 2026, he’s found in a register he knows well: raspy rock, choruses made to be chanted, deliberate derailments and a knack for barbs that sting where it hurts. No virtuoso posturing—more the energy of a tight band and a frontman searching for the angle, alternating punk swerves, reggae nods and skewed ballads, and not above improvising when the moment calls for it.
