Mathilde Fernandez unveils her Piano-Voice show for the first time at La Scala, Paris, on 27 March 2026, to accompany the release of her debut solo album. Known for moving between experimental pop, dark electronic textures and a voice steeped in the lyrical tradition, she here places the voice front and center—stripped back, in direct dialogue with the piano.

Born as a counterpoint to ascendant vierge—her duo with Paul Seul that once swept audiences onto the dance floor—this project reverses that momentum. Piano-Voice invites you to sit and listen differently, allowing space for breaths, silences and inflections that change the meaning and the temperature of the pieces.

The repertoire mixes her solo songs and tracks from ascendant vierge, rearranged for this format, and opens onto unreleased material. Mathilde Fernandez dissects her material, shifts scale and tempo, explores registers and languages to reshape her songs and reveal both their melodic framework and the grain of her voice. An intimate stage narrative, conceived to rediscover her world without filters, between restrained tension and letting go.
