Hasan Raheem - DKP North America

Hasan Raheem, Pakistani singer-songwriter from Gilgit now based in Karachi, has carved out his own lane between alternative R&B, urban pop and hip hop influences. He first put his music online at the end of the 2010s, building a following with slow-burn tempos, a laid-back voice and bilingual lyrics that switch between Urdu and English. His early singles spread quickly across streaming platforms and placed him alongside the new wave of independent South Asian artists, away from mainstream TV pop.

In 2022, his appearance on Coke Studio Pakistan with the track Peechay Hutt alongside Justin Bibis and producer Talal Qureshi widened his reach and underlined his taste for crisp electronic textures and rap-minded rhythms. The same year, he released the album Nautanki, a set that moves from minimalist R&B ballads to more dance-oriented cuts while keeping a focus on melody and pared-down production. On stage, Raheem leans into that balance: intimate hooks, simple vocal motifs and clean beats that leave space for the song.
