Wild Rivers

Toronto’s Wild Rivers bring their warm, harmony-led indie folk back home at Massey Hall on May 10, 2026. Built around the twin voices of Khalid Yassein and Devan Glover, with Andrew Oliver and Julien Laferrière completing the lineup, the band leans on close harmonies, acoustic guitars, a flexible rhythm section and understated arrangements that drift between folk, soft rock and indie pop. The interplay between male and female vocals sits at the center, shaping songs that move with restraint and clarity.

Since their self-titled debut in 2016, Wild Rivers have refined their writing through a string of late-2010s EPs. Songs To Break Up To (2020) tackled separation, nostalgia and emotional distance over slower tempos and more detailed textures, while Sidelines (2022) widened the palette without losing the intimate storytelling that defines their approach. The live show threads these chapters together, letting the voices carry the melodies and the narratives do the rest.
