Coline Rio

Coline Rio carves out a singular path in French pop, her voice serving as a compass and her arrangements spare, where acoustic textures flirt with electronics. Originally from Nantes, she first made her mark with Inüit, an orchestral and electronic pop collective, before refocusing as a solo artist on more intimate lyrics. Backed by piano, with subtle synth layers, restrained rhythms and carefully chosen words, her songs bridge melancholy and clarity without unnecessary effects.

Released in 2023, her debut album, Ce qu’il restera de nous (What Will Remain of Us), laid the foundations of a world attentive to vocal detail and nuance. On stage, Coline Rio adapts her pieces to the setting—from duo to full band—allowing the songs and their textures to breathe.

On 28 March 2026 at Palais Bondy, 20 quai de Bondy in Lyon, she will present a set that spans her recent releases and revisits her repertoire. It will be an opportunity to hear precise songwriting carried by a restrained presence, between piano confidences and delicate pulses that gently draw the listener in.
