Himra

A rising figure in Ivorian rap, Himra advances with a no-frills drill rooted in the streets of Abidjan. His writing addresses hustle, social ascent and the tensions of everyday life, between tightly delivered verses and catchy choruses, over dark productions where the rhythm drives the music. Since the late 2010s he has released a string of projects and built a dense catalogue that circulated first in West Africa before finding its place on streaming platforms.

In 2024 the album Jeune et Riche marked a turning point, propelled by Yorobo Drill Acte 3, Vêtements and Banger, and confirmed the following year with DACHIBA KOUMGBA TCHAIBA — a compact ten-track format that pushes further the blend of raw energy and sung passages. On stage Himra translates that tension into direct rap aimed at the audience; already seen between Abidjan and France, he even sold out his first Paris date at the Cabaret Sauvage.

Himra will perform at the Rockhal, 5 Avenue du Rock’n’Roll, 4083 Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg, on 22 May 2026. It’s an opportunity to experience live the trajectory of an artist who is asserting his drill signature and his voice between Abidjan and the diaspora.
