Uzi Freyja

Uzi Freyja arrives at La Chapelle Argence in Troyes on June 18, 2026. Her name resonates like a promise, combining the punch of an Uzi with the figure of Freyja, the Norse goddess. A French-Cameroonian rapper and winner of the 2023 Prix Chorus des Hauts-de-Seine, she forges a path between rap, punk energy and electronic structures, performing in both French and English. In two years she’s been seen at Dour, Francofolies, Vieilles Charrues, Rock en Seine, Eurosonic, MaMA and Reeperbahn, delivering a direct, confrontational live show.

She comes with her debut album, Bhelize don’t Cry, in which she addresses Bhelize, her inner child, stringing together tracks like self-portraits. She produced the album herself with Juxe at Krumpp, and surrounds herself with an eclectic team: Juxe (Nekfeu, Georgio, Coelho), Carbon Killer, Labo Klandestino (Soso Maness, Zamdane, Lakna), Hook and GR! (Muthoni Drummer Queen), and Vapa. On writing and vocals, collaborators include Yoa, Baby Volcano and Béatrice Dalle. In terms of references, one thinks of Princess Nokia, Little Simz, Leikeli47 or the raw intensity of City Morgue. On stage, Uzi Freyja distills these influences into a tense, organic set built for closeness and adrenaline.
