Info
Julien Clerc spans eras with a immediately recognizable voice and a repertoire that tells of love, life and the passing of time. Discovered in 1968 with La Cavalerie, he quickly followed with familiar hits: Ce n’est rien, Si on chantait, Ma préférence, Femmes je vous aime, Mélissa and Fais-moi une place. Surrounded by writers such as Étienne Roda-Gil, Jean-Loup Dabadie, Carla Bruni and Maxime Le Forestier, he helped shape French chanson at the crossroads of mainstream variety and pop, between expansive orchestrations and piano ballads.
He will be appearing in Bergerac on April 11, 2026 at L’Espace Étincelle, 1 Allée Lucien Videau. On stage, the singer-pianist emphasizes clear diction, the immediacy of the melodies and a storytelling quality that resonates across generations. Forty years after becoming the first French artist to play at Bercy, his return to touring showcases a prolific discography—mixing classics and more recent tracks—in a simple, direct atmosphere where people come to sing, remember and share.
