Mica Millar

Mica Millar, a British singer, songwriter and producer based in Manchester, shapes a contemporary soul sound infused with jazz, blues, gospel and RnB. An independent artist, she writes, arranges and produces her own material, with a strong affinity for vocal harmonies and organic textures. Her debut album, Heaven Knows (2022), mastered at Abbey Road, reinvented 1960s/70s influences through a present-day lens and explored human nature, spirituality, love, oppression and inequality. Garnering airplay across the UK—from BBC Radio 2 to 6 Music—she has performed widely throughout the UK and continental Europe, including a notable appearance at the Duc des Lombards.

She returns with A Little Bit of Me, a more intimate second album nourished by six years of personal searching and spiritual questioning. On stage, Mica Millar favors acoustic line-ups and a live approach centered on the voice, balancing meticulous arrangements with a deliberately retro atmosphere.
