July Talk - Touch X Tour

July Talk brings its taut alternative rock to Midway Music Hall in Edmonton on March 15, 2026. Formed in 2012 in Toronto, the band hinges on the vocal friction between Peter Dreimanis and Leah Fay Goldstein: a gravelly baritone brushing up against a clearer timbre, framed by guitar, bass and drums that go straight to the point. Across four albums, the group keeps playing with tension and release: the self-titled debut set the template, Touch added sharper melodic lines, Pray for It opened up space and slower tempos, and Remember Never Before returned to a more immediate pulse.

On stage, that back-and-forth becomes the heart of the show. Call-and-response phrases, clipped riffs and a steady rhythm section push songs forward, shifting from tight corners to wider passages in a snap. The set draws from the whole catalogue, from the early singles to recent material, always anchored by the dialogue between the two voices and arrangements built for impact without frills.
