Belphegor, Incantation, Hate and Narcotic Wasteland take over Lee’s Palace, 529 Bloor Street West, Toronto (M5S 1Y5), on February 22, 2026, for a bill rooted in blackened death and US death metal.
Founded in Salzburg in the early 90s and led by vocalist-guitarist Helmuth, Belphegor développe un son direct fait de tempos rapides, riffs tranchants et voix qui alternent growls profonds et cris acérés. Des débuts The Last Supper et Blutsabbath à Totenritual puis The Devils, le groupe maintient des atmosphères sombres et une imagerie religieuse détournée.
Formé en Pennsylvanie à la fin des années 80, Incantation pose un death metal lent et pesant, ponctué d’accélérations brusques et d’un grain dense tourné vers l’occulte. Onward to Golgotha fixe le cadre, prolongé sur Mortal Throne of Nazarene, Diabolical Conquest et jusqu’à Unholy Deification, sans rompre avec la matrice des années 90.
Depuis 1990 à Varsovie, Hate développe un alliage black/death aux thèmes rituels et à l’écriture massive, conduit par le chanteur-guitariste ATF Sinner. Narcotic Wasteland complète l’affiche avec un death metal serré et frontal, pensé pour la scène.
