The Road Hammers and Doc Walker roll into Winnipeg for the Til' The Wheels Fall Off Tour on February 15, 2026 at Club Regent Event Centre.
Formed in the mid-2000s around singer-guitarist Jason McCoy, The Road Hammers push a country rock that leans into southern grit and long-haul mythology. With Clayton Bellamy and bassist Scott Brown, the trio has been forging road-ready songs since their 2005 debut, through Wheels and The Squeeze, mixing trucker standards with originals. Riffs are sturdy, choruses clean and direct, and the stories stick close to the asphalt, from cruising mid-tempos to tougher, amplified cuts.
Active since the late ’90s and rooted in Manitoba, Doc Walker centers the duo of Chris Thorsteinson and Dave Wasyliw. Their sound sits in contemporary country with rock and roots edges: layered harmonies, a blend of electric and acoustic guitars, and a catalogue that runs from Good Day to Ride and Everyone Aboard to Weathervane. Regulars on the road and close to the Prairie tradition, they keep songs aimed at radio without losing a hometown feel.
Two Canadian country mainstays share the stage for a night of stories, hooks and guitars in Winnipeg.
