Info

Jonathan Roy is a Quebec singer-songwriter who blends pop, folk and soul influences with an introspective pen and a warm, grainy voice. The son of legendary goaltender Patrick Roy, he chose music early and shaped his own path away from the rink, releasing records that trace his evolution. After early work in French, he stepped out internationally in English with Life Distortions (2023), carried by songs that opened him to a broader audience, including Keeping Me Alive, whose live version found a wide echo online. His writing leans toward human stories and a production that stays organic, letting the melodies breathe while circling themes of resilience, self-overcoming and the search for light.

He brings this journey to Théâtre Manuvie in Brossard, Canada on March 7, 2026. On stage, Roy moves between intimate ballads and rough-edged pop-folk, keeping the voice upfront and the arrangements focused on feel. Expect newer tracks alongside earlier material, reworked with a clarity that highlights the lyrics and the grain of his delivery, for a set that favors closeness, pulse and straightforward emotion.
