Jesse Roper w/ Special Guests

Also known as The Roper Show, Canadian guitarist and songwriter Jesse Roper builds his music on blues-rock foundations with a clear nod to 70s rock and North American roots. Based near Victoria, British Columbia, he made his mark in the 2010s through steady gigging on Vancouver Island before expanding to national tours and festival stages. His writing brings together crunchy blues riffs, solid rock rhythms and shades of folk and soul, with a strong focus on vocal melody and the energy of the performance.

In the studio, The Fortunes (2015) and Access to Infinity (2018) set the tone for a sound that alternates between driving electric tracks and slower, voice-and-guitar pieces. On stage, his songs often stretch out, leaving room for longer sections and improvisation, a live approach that shapes much of his catalogue. Rooted in an independent Canadian scene, Roper moves easily between blues, rock and folk territory without losing the direct, song-first feel.
