Mo Gilligan brings The Mo You Know to Danforth Music Hall in Toronto on April 19, 2026. Born in London and raised between Lambeth and Camberwell, the stand-up has shaped his voice on stage, moving from clubs to theatres with material rooted in everyday life. Family dynamics, work, class and the texture of British urban culture feed stories and characters that nod to his Jamaican and Saint Lucian heritage, with flashes of grime and rap culture in the background.
Beyond the stage, Gilligan has built a presence on Channel 4, first alongside Big Narstie on The Big Narstie Show, then as host of The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan, mixing comedy, live music and guests from across creative scenes. He tours in the UK and internationally and released a filmed special in 2019. The Mo You Know reconnects him with the room, where timing, voices and crowd energy shape the jokes in real time. Ages 16+.
