On April 16, 2026, HEALTH joins forces with Carpenter Brut at MTELUS in Montréal for a collision of noise rock, industrial pulse and dark electronics. Two heavy live acts, two ways of bending synths and guitars into something tense and physical.
HEALTH emerged from Los Angeles’ DIY scene around The Smell, built by Jacob Duzsik, John Famiglietti and Benjamin Jared Miller. Their early records pushed jagged structures and spectral vocals; Get Color sharpened the hooks without losing the burn. The band’s score for Max Payne 3 added a cinematic edge that feeds into Death Magic and Vol. 4: Slaves of Fear, where industrial beats, saturated textures and clearer vocal lines drive the set. The ongoing DISCO series of remixes and collaborations anchors them at the crossroads of metal, electronic and pop noir.
Carpenter Brut is the French project of Franck Hueso, a synthwave engine wired to metal riffs and an 80s horror/action aesthetic. After the Trilogy EPs, Leather Teeth framed a glam-metal fake soundtrack, followed by the darker, heavier Leather Terror. On stage, Carpenter Brut brings tight sequencing, martial rhythms and retro-futurist atmospheres shaped for a high-impact show at MTELUS, Montréal.
