Ary Abittan marks his return to the stage after three years away. At 50, the comedian takes an honest look at fatherhood, love, coupledom and childhood. In "Authentique," he recounts what has shaken him and what drives him, moving between confidences and quips, with a storytelling sensibility that alternates lightness and seriousness. His hardships, his resurgences, his doubts and his hopes take shape through characters and everyday scenes in which he puts himself on the line. No detours, few filters, a direct voice that draws on the intimate without dwelling on it. He composes a face-to-face in which we follow a journey rather than a mere sequence of sketches, and where personal experience becomes material for laughter.
