David Hallyday « Requiem pour un fou »

David Hallyday is back on the road with Requiem pour un fou, a concert conceived as a dialogue between his world and that of his father, Johnny Hallyday. As a songwriter, composer and musician, he revisits his own songs and draws from Johnny’s repertoire to make them resonate anew, striking a balance between fidelity and his personal interpretation. One recalls Sang pour Sang, the album he wrote and composed for his father—a milestone in their shared history; that parentage runs throughout the set, between memories, transmission and a son’s perspective on a body of work that continues to live on stage. On 27 November 2026, David Hallyday will be at the Narbonne Arena in Narbonne to present this project, where guitars, voices and contemporary arrangements build a bridge between two generations. Requiem pour un fou, a nod to Johnny’s signature song, serves as the throughline for an evening designed for the audiences of both artists as well as for those rediscovering them.
