Info
Goose, an American rock band, has been carving out its path with an identity that blends indie rock, long improvisational passages and solid grooves. Rick Mitarotonda (vocals, guitar), Peter Anspach (vocals, keyboards, guitar), Trevor Weekz (bass) and Cotter Ellis (drums, vocals) honed their craft in Connecticut basements before occupying stages such as Madison Square Garden, Red Rocks and Radio City Music Hall, propelled by a DIY ethos and a steady presence in live broadcasts and streams.
After Dripfield in 2022, the quartet released Everything Must Go in 2024, earning attention from outlets like The New York Times, Vulture, SPIN and Guitar Player. In 2025, Chain Yer Dragon, their fifth studio album, outlines a narrative framework where nocturnal moods intersect with bright interludes, featuring an organic production that serves the band’s energy. It reveals a 1970s-rooted rock foundation designed to breathe on stage and to leave space for collective interplay.
Since Moon Cabin, recorded in 2016 in a New Hampshire barn, Goose has been refining precise songwriting and a taste for improvisation. They’ve appeared on Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and CBS Saturday Morning, and at festivals such as Bonnaroo and ACL. On June 1, 2026, at the Élysée Montmartre in Paris, Goose will present this repertoire—between composed pieces and instrumental excursions—to be experienced live.
